With over 20 years of experience in beauty, product, and lifestyle imagery, Amber Spandau blends precision retouching, creative problem solving, and modern imaging technology to deliver polished visuals. A graduate of the renowned Brooks Institute of Photography, her career began behind the camera before evolving into a deep focus on post-production.
Amber has partnered with boutique studios, start-ups, photographers, and global brands alike, including a decade as Senior Retoucher for Paul Mitchell’s in-house creative team. Her work spans traditional retouching, thoughtful capture, AI-enhanced imaging, and consulting on modern image production workflows.
Amber’s approach combines technical mastery with a collaborative mindset - supporting creative teams from initial concept through final delivery.
